Job Description for Food Pantry Assistant: COVID GRANT

  • Enter client information into Link 2 Feed database. 
  • Serve clients. 
  • Check Sign Up Genius daily to remain aware of appointments that have been scheduled. 
  • Accept food donations as they come in; weigh them and document poundage. 
  • Place orders on Food Bank of the Rockies agency portal. 
  • Unload food and provide directions to volunteers. 
  • Maintain cleanliness of food pantry by cleaning up spills and keeping the floor clear of debris. 
  • Regularly wipe down surfaces with anti-bacterial wipes, including refrigerators and freezers. 
  • Re-stock product on shelves regularly. 
  • Examine bread and refrigerated products regularly and discard all that has spoiled. 
  • Perform temperature checks and rodent/pest control checks weekly. 

Pay is $13 an hour-then negotiable after grant funding runs out (6 months)

Must be able to pass a background check
